For over a hundred years the UBC has been engaged in its mission to tell the world about Ukraine, its history, and its culture through song and the multi-stringed bandura. More than a performing ensemble, the UBC operates a bandura education program, helps develop new Kharkiv bandura instruments, encourages the compositions of new works for the bandura, partners with universities, collaborates with musicians on projects, and is committed to pass this tradition to future generations.
